We create opportunities for those who are growing in Christ-likeness to give themselves away for the sake of others. Like Jesus, we are called to give our lives away regardless of how people respond. This includes proclaiming the good news of Jesus; caring for the disenfranchised; welcoming people into our lives, homes, and church; and ministering to their various needs.

 At Oak Hills, we engage in mission in terms of two broad categories. 

Missional Living is where we live out God’s specific calling on us both as individuals and as a local church in our everyday lives. We encourage one another to live on mission through education, coordinated small-group and church-wide efforts, and storytelling. For specific opportunities in vocational mission, please click here.

The second category we refer to as Partner Missions, where we join with other individuals, organizations and communities to help them accomplish the mission God has given them. We partner with others in mission through prayer, financial support, and volunteering. Click here for a list of our specific Ministry Partners. 

We periodically send small teams of people to encourage and assist our partners on specific projects.
